چکیده

Background: Limited data are available on retention rates of biologic therapy in psoriatic arthritis (PsA) patients (pts) with axial involvement. It has been shown that the subset pts prevalent involvement (AS versus PsA and AxSpA PsA) a longer duration anti-TNF-?-therapy was observed as compared to peripheral [1]. Objectives: To compare without routine clinical practice. Methods: 731 according CASPAR criteria were included study. Data collected from 43 rheumatology clinics over various regions Russian Federation. Among pts, 243 (33.0%) (M/F 132/111) given therapy. Pts’ age 45.9±12.8 years (yrs), disease 8.6±6.5 yrs. Pts underwent standard examination activity split into two groups (gr.), (axPsA): axPsA(+) axPsA(-). gr. had inflammatory back pain by ASAS and/or radiographic sacroiliitis (SI) (unilateral grade?3 or bilateral grade?2) active MRI SI typical axPsA changes cervical lumbar spine (marginal/paramarginal syndesmophytes, ankylosis facet joints). axPsA(-) only arthritis. The 143 (58.8%) 100 (41.2%) pts. 163 (67.1%) treated TNF inhibitors (TNF-i), 80 (32.9%) interleukin (IL-i): 55 Ustekinumab, 25 Secukinumab. During TNF-i treatment courses Infliximab 34 Adalimumab 53 Etanercept 36 Golimumab 27 Certolizumab Pegol 8 observation period lasted 12 months. Treatment analyzed using Kaplan-Meier curves log-rank test. Results: Analysis revealed statistically significant differences between grs. After months observation, 72.9% continued receiving therapy, while 53.1% (?=0.0027) received it. same kind anti-TNF found gr.: 82.2% 62.3% respectively (?=0.011) after However no IL-i therapy: 55.5% 37% (?=0.086) IL-i. Conclusion: In practice, be worse prescribed twice often than However, considering need personalized case use is preferable because their don’t depend References: [1]M. Fabbroni et al. Mediators Inflammation, 2014. Retention Differences (?=0.00265, log rank test). Disclosure Interests: None declared.

Biologic therapy of psoriatic arthritis.

Psoriatic arthritis is now recognized as a potentially serious and disabling disease. Traditional therapies have not been very effective in controlling signs and symptoms or preventing progression of damage. Based on the pathogenesis of the disease new therapies have been introduced, particularly anti-TNF agents and anti-T cell agents. Several of those have shown excellent responses in clinical...

Treatment patterns and costs for anti-TNFα biologic therapy in patients with psoriatic arthritis

BACKGROUND Real-world data regarding anti-tumor necrosis factor alpha (anti-TNFα) biologic therapy use in psoriatic arthritis (PsA) are limited; therefore, we described treatment patterns and costs of anti-TNFα therapy in PsA patients in the United States. METHODS PsA patients (N = 990) aged ≥18 years who initiated anti-TNFα therapy were selected from MarketScan claims databases (10/1/2009 to...

Peripheral joint involvement in psoriatic arthritis patients.

Peripheral joint involvement is a common, potentially debilitating feature of psoriatic arthritis (PsA). Joint involvement is commonly symmetrical and polyarticular similar to rheumatoid arthritis (RA) but it can also be oligoarticular, asymmetrical or occasionally monoarticular. Involvement of the distal interphalangeal joints is a feature which distinguishes PsA from RA. Articular involvement...

S100A8/A9 in psoriatic plaques from patients with psoriatic arthritis

OBJECTIVE To evaluate levels of the calcium-binding proteins S100A8 and S100A9 in the skin of patients with psoriatic arthritis. METHODS Skin punch biopsies were obtained from patients with psoriatic arthritis and healthy control subjects. S100A8/A9 were semiquantified via immunohistochemistry and semiquantitative polymerase chain reaction. RESULTS The study included biopsies from nine pati...
